From what I have heard the 1350 has been improved with a microprocessor that helps reduce power draw, but about the same flow. There is a good chance you won't notice any difference
Is it the block or the impeller?. you can buy a replacement impeller and maybe that will work |

I'll try the 1350 and see how it works. Is that the pump to use for the 200 mini model as well? Block size is the same, but? |

Hello Klaus, I am in the same position as some of the previous posters. I have been waiting since early February for a warranty replacement pump and impeller for my BK Mini 180 GenII. Premium first sent me someone else's RD1500 pump which I had to return then the RD1000 they sent arrived damaged and Jeremy had damaged the impeller. So both were sent back and they say they are waiting to hear from you. This is ridiculous. I believe your company is much better than this.
I also have a new BK Mini 180 on order for many months now. Premium Aquatics keeps saying they are waiting for your company to supply the RD 1000 pump and impeller and that they are not able to get a delivery date for it or the new Skimmer. I have now sent Michelle at Premium aquatics 85 e-mails but am no further ahead. I would love to hear from you as waiting 7 months for a complete replacement pump assembly and a new skimmer is just wrong and I think the entire community here would agree. As I stated earlier, I believe in Bubble King and want to continue doing so but I need your help please Klaus. Hope to hear from you soon. Phil. |

Same story.... I purchased a BK 200 mini with RD3 speedy pump to replace a $200 skimmer that I had for some time for my 175 gl. After just 4 months the pump just stopped working.
Premium aquatics asked to return the pump to them and after few days , they told me that the pump will be replaced at no cost to me. ( I paid shipping) . I did not expected anything else on a $1300 skimmer. That was 3 months ago and still no pump only excuses. Emails to Royal.exclusive and Premium aquatics result in new delivery dates but always the date is changed. I don't like to complaint but these is bad costumer service. |

^^^^ this is very troubling and I am sorry for your troubles reminds me of the way it was prior to Jeremy coming on board. So much for bringing BK to the states. I know that they are busy, but C/S is C/S.

Yes it did. The funny thing is that the old skimmer ($200) was working fine.
I decided to keep mostly SPS and for that reason I changed it. I think Bubble King are one of the best skimmer in the market. Many of my friends use them for years with great results. We should expect some problems even with the best products. I think my pump was more the exception than the rule. My problem is with the costumer service. How come that such well stablished company does not have a few pumps ready for these situations? |

wow, i've always seen the re being pretty responsive to customers. I don't know why they're leaving you guys hanging. klaus usually comes on the boards quite frequent. maybe they're just really busy or something. but at least let the customer know what's going on, silence is a killer.
on a side note: i'm glad i have the tried and true askoll block. i was thinking of going to the dc pumps, but my askoll rd1500 pump is still kicking butt, so i didn't see the need to fix what's not broken. with all the issues ive read associating with the dc pumps, i'm glad i still run a askoll rd1500 and a rd4.5 as my return. both still kicking butt.

They have not stay silence. they said " in 4 weeks" ....then "we are waitting for shippment"....then " 3 more weeks"...you get the point. |

Guys, the Florida R-E location's website is up and running - I have been steering anyone who is waiting on C/S, warranty, replacements, etc. to contact them directly through the site, and folks are getting results... I'm not sure if there's a dedicated liaison for the States yet, or if everything still goes through Germany, but this is a great direct contact route.

I have not heard back from Torsten confirming that RE has released Premium Aquatics order yet. So I would be in that category.

Klaus -
We would love that. It would be nice to have a stock of critical parts on hand for replacement or warranty issues, so that customers can receive those parts immediately upon need.
