Kinda hard to see the true blue in this acro, but even my photo edit app couldn't make it as blue as it is.
And here is my blue stag!

One of my favorite , I just picked one up should have it in a week. It's probably the rarest of all sps and highly copied. Linage is the key to purchasing a real one.
Congrats

Wow.. what a resurrection..
great thread but nowadays with all the led lighting, blue corals are not as popular. They don’t go all crazy under leds.. I still love me a nice blue coral tho! Anybody got some?

So, just to get a new photo up here.. here’s a blue stag o got from an Aussie shipment. Unfortunately, recently it crashed on me! Was growing robustly, amazing pe and then one day a huge area of tissue right in the body of the coral just peeled away. I couldn’t believe it.. I fragged it up and still most pieces died. A couple are hanging in but don’t look great..
fortunately a frag I took off several months ago is looking good .. Hopefully the frags will allow me to grow this out again. Was a stunning blue..

They have some teal and purplish tendencies, but these are two of my absolute favorites:

There are a lot of purple blues out there and teals. Can’t tell you how many “blue” corals I have bought that didn’t get much blue. This and Oregon tort are the most intense blues I have kept

Depending on placement it can go from solid blue to blue with green.
