Milwaukee MC122 pH controller question

Hi, Iím good about looking up questions before I post, maybe I should know this one

When the pH controller is blinking red, is the Solenoid to be on? Sometimes I see bubbles in the counter when the pH controller is blinking then sometime I do not. My pH on the controller hoovers between 6.8-7.2
I have a Milwaukee MA957 regulator and a Skimz CM122 calcium reactor.
A friend suggested to by pass the bubble counter on the regulator and use the counter on the calcium reactor, pic included.
Thanks

A light means power is on.
Try the reactor bubble counter - nothing to loose.
Don't forget a check valve in the line.
