Difference between superman and deluxe internal
What are the differences between these 2 lines? What would skim better a supermarin 300 or 300 deluxe internal?

The deluxe is the flagship model and will dry skim very well. The Supermarin is designed for wet skimming. The Deluxe will skim wet or dry. The Deluxe is the most popular skimmer in Europe but they are way under marketed here in the US. In the US where people love to wet skim, the SM has become the most popular skimmer. Probably due in large part to the Deluxe's having not been readily available here in the states and under marketed. Now we have the Deluxe's here and they are among my favorite skimmers. Both the Deluxe and SM's share the same heavy grade material and are both build of the same quilaty material with a two piece body design that is hand welded.

It really depends on the display size and load but if space were not an issue, I would likely go with the Deluxe. You just have to be careful because the Deluxe skimmers are VERY under rated. At their minimum tank size, you would want a REALLY heavy load to keep them consistent. Especially with the 300. I run a SM250 myself and I drool every time I see the Deluxe 300. I've long since considered the D300 but I'm concerned about consistency on my 480g display with well over 150" worth of fish and heavy feelings.
