Where did you get that amazing rock from to be covered with tunicates? All 3 of the pics are tunicates.

Finally added my first two clowns today so I decided to try to rid the tank of the Mantis shrimp. In the process I found two of these guys. Gorillas?

 photo 014_zpsc0ceb53c.jpg

And my mantis! What a feat. I'm not sure what to do with him now though...

Neither of the last 2 crab pics look like gorillas. They're usually hairy all over. All crabs have hairy legs. The first pic (last page) almost looks like an emerald, but hard to tell from that angle. Not sure on the crab Lou posted, pic is too far.

Do you really just toss them? I don't know that I could do that. I'm a trap and set free spiders from my house kind of person.

If you have a sump, you can put them in there.

In amongst the red coralline algae there appears to be a couple tiny Sun Coral polyps... I need a better way of magnifying to be certain, though...

I would try to find someone to take that mantis. They are quite popular as pets now so you might not have any trouble finding someone.

It's a majano, pest anemone. You'll want to inject it with either kalk slurry or a commercially available aiptasia killer.

I, too, like the look of majanos anemones.
A local pet shop has a rock covered with them in one of their tanks. I don't know if it's up for sale. Lol.

If I had the space I'd set up a tank just for that rock and maybe some hermits.

It's a shame that they're nasty critters.

I feel like I've seen pictures of this before, but my memory fails me. It was attached to the piece of rock my new plate coral came on.

ID appreciated!

Does it react to light or move/shrink?

It's kind of hard to tell from those pictures, but it could be one of the unwanted spiders outlined in this link.

The top picture is definitely aiptasia. I'm not sure about the crab in the second picture. (sorry) Just to be safe though, you might want to try and capture that thing. It could start running a muck if you just leave it alone. (eating fish, invertebrates, corals)
