Beautiful inexpensive clownfish

Hi, I am currently looking for a beautiful unique species of clownfish. My price range is around $20- $60 a piece. I am not looking for a full on black clown or the nemo clownfish. Please list out a few names, price range, and image of the clown.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Beautiful, unique, inexpensive clown-fish are oxymoron.

For 60 each, you can definitely find a unique clown. Depending on your lfs prices, this could include nakeds, midnights, etc. But I have to agree with the above. If you mean unique as in no one has them, your price range would have to be adjusted.

Good lists include:
http://sustainableaquatics.com/clownfish/
https://www.seaandreef.com/marine-or...ish/clownfish/
https://www.orafarm.com/products/fish/clownfish/

That really covers it all. You'll get all sorts of other morphs and such from local breeders too, but that's the gist of it. No better lists IMO.

I think well breed Onyx Percula are one of the most beautiful clown fish. They are not unique. Beautiful ones (nice body shape without deformities) are not cheap but not that expensive. I am not into these wild abnormal shape fish. The shape have to be fairly close to wild type is a must for me.

I like onyx piccasso’s For that range. Whatever type you decide on make sure you inspect them carefully for good body shape and form.

Onyx or lightning maroon clowns.
Lighting clowns are $39.99 at Petco. If you buy a pair they can give you 25% off.
Onyx prices vary. If you want a good pair of Onyx clowns you should send a PM to D-Nak. He might have some for sale.

Why not get a separate species? Something like a Skunk clown is probably more uncommon than most designer varieties tbh, they're cheap as well.

I agree completely! And a pair of nice GSM’s but they can be so nasty to all other fish once established.

I was at VividAquariums several days ago. They had wild caught orange skunks for sale. The clowns looked very bright orange and cute. I can definitely see the appeal of keeping them in a reef tank.

Another +1, once my tank has matured to the point I can add a carpet I'll be on the hunt for a pair of percula.
