Advice for wavemaker
I just upgraded to a 120 and need a good but kinda cheap advise for a wavemaker setup. Would a single gyre work or two powerhead on pulse? Gonna be putting alot of leathers and acros and some montipora in the tank

Yep I second the gyre I have the CP-40 (knock off) and love the way it moves water in every part of my tank.

If I had to make a choice of one gyre or two powerheads, I believe I would go with the two powerheads. U can always add a gyre to the mix when u have the funds down the road. On both of my setups I have two wavemakers & one cp crossflowpumps (jabeo version of the gyre) & I like them setup this way.
Two gyres would also make for a nice setup. So u could also go this rout by getting one now & one later. |
