Algae id please

It doesn’t look like hair algae as it doesn’t loose form when I take it out of the aquarium nor byropsis as I don’t see any branching structure..

Excellent pics. That's how you get good ID input. In the third pic, you can see branching. So maybe it is bryopsis. Does it really matter? IMO, there are two kinds of algae: algae I want, and algae I don't want. If you don't want it, you know the drill…

Lol.. Thanks for the input. I kinda removed about half of it by hand yesterday. Will get the rest by nutrient control and CUC. I requested id here to determine the type of CUC I would need to do the job..

Right on. That makes sense. I like Cerith snails. They reproduce to match the algae supply. In my experience you need to manually remove the long stuff, and your crew will take it from there. Good luck!
