Salinity Question For Nems, Leathers and Mushrooms
I introduced a Purple Tang two weeks ago and it is battling ich but all other fish are fine. I am treating with Polyp Lab Medic and this is my question: What is the minimum salinity level that i can maintain to keep my nems, leathers and mushrooms? I have lowered my level to 1.020.
Any opinions as to whether this will even make any difference in defeating this mild ich outbreak and any advice is appreciated. The tank is a mature 120 and as i have said, no other fish are afflicted and the tang is eating. Thanks |

I was always under the impression they liked higher sg, like 1.025-.26. I'm not sure what the minimum would be but I don't think any lower would be a good idea.

1.024-1.026 has always been the sweet spot for me.
