That is a big reactor. Take lots of pictures when you set it up. I am curious how easy you find it.

Up Next: 400 pounds of cherry-picked XL Pukani rock from Premium Aquatics!
For the next update, a special thanks goes out to my friends @Premium Aquatics who always exceed my expectations! Not only did Brandon cherry pick over 400 pounds of XL Pukani rock for my new project, but he also personally delivered the rock to my house on Saturday (from Indianapolis, IN to Dayton, OH) and helped me unload it too. Talk about amazing service! Last edited by aquavista99; 11/06/2017 at 10:42 PM. |

I really like the size and structure of Pukani rock and since it is uncured, I do not have to treat the rock for nuisance algae or pests either. My goal after curing the Pukani rock is to mix it with some of my mature, pest free Fiji rock from my grow-out system, which is filled with many types of sponges & beneficial bacteria as well.

Your corals always look so great. Do you supplement your 400 watt 14K Ushios with T5, VHO or LEDs? Scanned the thread and didn't notice any supplemental lighting.
Killer build by the way! Thanks, Mark

Thank you very much, Mark! I have always used 14k halides with no supplemental lights whatsoever. However, for the new display tank, I will be using supplemental lighting for the first time. Not sure how it will go ... so use to the daylight look for many years.

I believe sea swirls are great.
I've used them for years If I didn't have rimless, I would use them |
