Let the good times roll.
Had dinos a while back and did a 3 day blackout and they seemed to go away. Then came cyano, another good time. Got rid of that and got red bugs.
Well now dinos are back. The good news is I dont see anymore red bugs, however here goes the blackout again.
On a good note hopefully the red bugs will stay gone. Also my clowns laid eggs last night for the first time. I added a ats the other day but I need to blackout the tank because dinos are spreading fast. Torches and zoas wont open all the way and it keeps covering other corals

If you haven't already looked into it research dosing hydrogen peroxide to eliminate Dino's.

I hate dinos. Sitting here looking at a tank covered in blankets is a terrible feeling once again. Hopefully everything pulls through. Once the dinos are gone hopefully the ats and gfo can keep the tank under control.

Got a new toy today. Getting rid of the leds and going to try a 6' halide/vho combo fixture.
Fixture is 3x250w se halides and 2 fr59t12/vho's.

If anyone has any input on bulb combos please chime in.

Bought myself a xmas present.

3 - 250w 20k radiums and 2- 140w uvl super actinic vho's. Cant wait to try em out.

The tank has been going through its ups and downs but I can say in the short time from switching from leds to halides the monti caps have doubled in size.

So your SPS enjoys the new lighting, well I am shocked.

Ok. I had to build a stand to raise it up. Performance was much better IME. Nice job with the sump.

Bummer! Did you check the impellers? I keep my RW's pretty clean (once monthly cleaning). I noticed they sell replacements pretty cheap. Could be a cheap fix.

Any plans on what pumps you are going to go with?
