Marine Betta have laid eggs
For the first time ever I've managed to get my male marine betta on camera tending to the eggs - so cool!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyDiz4uDMO0 Does anyone have any experience breeding or raising these? All information online seems rather dated. |

That's awesome! I have no experience with raising them but wish you luck. You may want to reach out to some of the commercial breeders(ORA) and see if they can offer some advice.

Check this link out, while it may be a tad dated this fellow was able to get a few of them to settlement. So, with any luck you can apply the same or similar principals and fine tune the process to get higher yield. Congrats by the way, it's so cool to see fish with their spawn |

Thanks - I did check out that thread so will likely follow their approach. Unfortunately the eggs hatched a few nights ago and I wasn’t prepared - I’m sure they will lay again though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
