Gen5 rail mount

Any ideas on whether or not the new G5 mount will attach to older gen Radions. Specifically, I have some old Gen2 Pros that I would like to switch to a rail mount. I was hoping the new Gen5 adapters would bolt up to the older Radions. I realize the new Gen5 has a fan on top, so you should not use the older mounts on the new lights, but can you use the new mount on the old light?

Despite the new mounts having a large curve to accommodate air flow through the fan, the mounting geometry is the same. You can use the new G5 mounts with G1 and up, but you can't use the old mounts with the G5s.
