I think it is common to have them in tank. If your corals still in good shape, this is not an issue.

Been following this thread from the beginning and just have to say WOW!. A question for you, how do you keep the water temp from fluctuating since it’s hot over where you are at?

My tank is in air-conditioning room and also have chiller. So temperature is quite stable at the range of 24-25 celcius (75.2-77 fahrenheit).

Hi,
Finally I decide to change my light combination. Former: - Giesemann 400w 12,500K x 6 - T5 VHO 36" Super Actinic x 8 - T12 VHO 60" Super Actinic x 4 New version: - Radium 400w 20,000K x 5 - Ushio 400w 20,000K x 1 - T5 VHO 36" Aquasun x 8 - T12 VHO 60" Aquasun x 4 * Actually I want to use only Ushio 400w but they are out of stock. The result is very good. My tank is brighter, not too blue. Corals and fishes look more vibrant. Very happy! Strongly recommend.

Actually you had 'white' MH's and blue T5's like most of us have, and now you have changed to blue MH's and 'white' T5's?
Cool new fish, how many do you have? I have two, I see them almost anytime. Time to go visit your tank again, it maybe looks even better than when we visited it last summer...

Ching,
Was curiouswhy you decided to change your lighting combination? It's not like your tank was suffering by any means. Any issues so far by doing so? Any developments with the new tank?

And this change really makes me very happy and satisfied. You should come to see it in person. My new tank is still on the drawing board.
