sifto salt for diy dosing

Hi all
I've been mixing my own ca+, mg, alk,
lately I bought Sifto salt 100% natura
Mg cl, but this one is Tan color not white,
Is still safe to use it?

No. Not ever for your reef tank

What are you trying to do? salt is not needed for anything you mentioned

Brown is not good.

Who knows what else is in it.

They also make table salt

I wouldn't trust it, but people have been successful with a wide range of chemical products.

I've always used the "Dow mag fkake"
And it is white,
Couldn't find any this time and bought this
,but I will skip it and use it for the snow
I will keep looking for the one that has been tested for long time

If you have a Home Hardware local they carry it. They had to order in for me last time but only took 5 days.

That's exactly where I got it from,
They. Switched to Sifto I don't know why
And once got home I had the surprise to see a brown flake not a clear/wjite one

Ah that sucks, my store still has it listed. But I'm now using ATI Essentials so no longer need it. Maybe bulk from ReefSupplies?
