RMS XR30 weight on AIO glass

Hello everyone, I have a few questions. I have an Aqua Euro USA 28 gallon AIO and could not find the glass thickness anywhere online. The jbj 28 gallon's is about 6mm others are roughly same or 8mm. So my guess would be that it is about 6mm.

My questions are, will the glass thickness support the rms mount with an xr30 pro? Or would the weight cause a stress fracture on the glass because of the thickness? Would it be a better idea to go with a hanging kit?

Thank you!

Rooki,

I would highly recommend measuring the thickness of your aquarium for accuracy. That said, for an aquarium that size a single XR15w G3 Pro and an XR15 RMS kit would work great. Also, you will not need to be concerned if your glass is 6 millimeters or thicker.

Thank you. I'll measure the glass soon as I can. I would have picked up the xr15 but I will be upgrading later and i have already purchased the xr30 with rms kit. What is the minimum glass thickness to use the xr30 rms kit? I may have to just sell the rms kit and pickup a hanging kit. Thanks again!
