Hawkfish diet

Hey guys, got my longnose hawkfish last week, he doesn't seem to eat a lot lol. Not interested in flakes or pellets. He did eat bits of frozen mysis, but he definitely ate some live river shrimp I got from Lfs. My question would be how often should I add live shrimp to the tsnk? There are about 5 shrimp in the pack, the clown fish shared one, the hawkfish devoured one immediately, then played with a 2nd.one was still running about 24 hours later. Advice please?

Have you tried feeding it a diaper yet?

You should avoid feeding anything’s my from a freshwater environment due to the differences in fatty acids. Really, live food of whatever origin shouldn’t be needed. I would try some Rods original frozen or other meaty food.
