Coraline algae color

Does my coraline algae look normal ?
Isn't it supposed to be purple? Mine seems like it's really faint

That is weird. It almost looks like it grew and then died off.

In well established flourishing tanks it will typically be deep pink/purple..
In new tanks,etc...not so much
Mag levels? They are often important..high mag sometimes helps..

I will never understand people wanting coralline..

I wanted it, then didn’t, but now that it’s been dying off, I kind of want it back again. The pink just makes everything look so happy.
