Even though I feel I got great all around coverage before the retrofit, I am having Ecotech install the wide angle lens kit on my fixture.

In regards to UV. I spoke with Ecotech and they told me if I upgrade my gen 2 to gen 3, the gen 3 pucks will have the UV and Indigo leds. Not sure if this was answered or not.

Is yellow useful ?

I'm looking at upgrading my G1 to a G3 instead of G3 Pro to save some cost if yellow is not essential !

Ecotech, what are the advantages to the G3 Pro over the G3? I notice that it adds a couple more Deep Blue and a couple Yellow. What more does that provide versus the G3?

Not sure if less light makes better color. not enough light will brown it out too much light will bleach it. I need to redo some rock work and will move it up then

IMO, you are right. Oregon torts are all bright blue, and Cali torts have some green to their base.
