My Eightline Flasher Wrasse, Paracheilinus octotaenia

I recently got an Eightline Flasher Wrasse female. She is doing very well in my tank and feeding well, getting fat. Looking back at the pictures I got of her, It see, that she is clearly changing. More colorful and the fins are no longer clear.
I will try to take pictures at regular interval and update it here so we all can see the progress. I hope she will be the spectacular fish that she have the potential to be.

Wow awesome, great photos as well!

Are there any other wrasses in the tank, if so can you list them?

I'd love to put a pair of those into my tank, but it's not covered and I'm sure these guys are notorious jumpers just like hexatenia. Those I found regularly on the carpet...

I know Scott Michael recommended keeping harem of these wrasses in our tank. However Flasher and Fairy wrasses always turn male in our tanks even with dominant male in resident. Keeping a pair will invariably result in two males even when they spawn for a while. Once this happened we will have problem.
All veteran wrasse keepers recommend single specimen per species.

Minh, your photography skills are only second to your outstanding fish keeping skills. Thanks for the post and info on the eight line wrasse. It is now on my wrasse wish list.
