Calcium Reactor

Hi, I am a total newbie to using a calcium reactor. I have an Apex classic and an Aquarium Engineering calcium reactor. Can someone help me set everything up so I can use these? Thank you![/QUOTE]

Well how do you want to feed the calcium reactor? Do you have a co2 tank with a good regulator?

I'll probably just use a submersible pump and yes I have a tank with a solenoid.

For a bullet proof way. Drive the reactor with a masterflex pump and keep the reactor pH at 6.50ph . Adjust efluent rate according to needs. There is a large post on here about using masterflex.

That's probably more than I want to spend on a pump. They look crazy expensive. But I'm completely new to setting up a reactor at all.
