The tank looks lit much better now. Is there less shadows when you view the tank now?

Looking good!
Do you use the dastaco carx media? I'm considering using it as it is supposed to be more pure than coral skeletons or crushed coral.. Think it's worth it?

Matt
My dastaco is maxed out now and I'm still only averaging a KH of 7.4. I have used the media that came with it as a package and tried the xl ARM media and that was being used pretty quick and forming a deposit on the sponges .I have the triton media in now which I'm only going to use it looks more like a granite and like you say supposed to be the purist .I have just added the KH Guardian as a back up and giving me more control and stability, its not set to dose yet just monitoring the tank so I can get the optimum level as I try to run at 7.3 -7.5KH Bill |

I wasn't aware that triton had a carx media. I guess that makes sense.
Thanks for the info. Can't seem to get anything from triton up here in Canada. Oh! Just realized that the triton media IS the dastaco media. Good to kneo.

Guys
Thanks, I have no idea what his camera settings were as I have just picked the mag up and I could have taken better pics and video with my Nikon d7000 on manual settings ,id seen his previous shots and I asked him what equipment he was using and that I hoped his pics were better than mine. But I could not have put the video and sound together..lol Bill |
