Frustrated with bubbles
What in the world is going on here?! These bubbles keep showing up on my rocks, back wall of my tank etc. I can just easily brush them off and they pop easily, just like regular bubbles but they come back in a couple days.
They are clear, not like green bubble algae or anything and are not rooted. It's so frustrating I can barely type this message without having to set my phone down. It's been going on for a month now and makes my tank look ridiculous. I don't have much for test kits...you wonderful guys are helping me with that in a different thread. What I can test for is ammonia/nitrite 0; nitrate 0, ph 8.3; I only have a cruddy test strip for alk which shows 0-10 (That's one of the kits I'll be purchasing this weekend). Salt 1.023, temp 77.8. Any ideas? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

The algae under the bubbles is producing oxygen. Get rid of the algae and you’ll get rid of the bubbles. Likely your phosphates are high.
Also, they aren’t hurting anything by being there... their is no need for you to continually remove them. |
