Really like the tile, have you found it to be difficult to get in the tank to do stuff with edge you have going around?

Flow issues addressed
I got a replacement MP60 to replace the DOA. So I now have a MP60 on one side and 2 MP40's on the other side- one high and the other lower.
I finally got the WXM programmed for the Apex and had to use extra statements to balance the 60 and the 40's I was having a lot of problems getting the statements to work because I was not using a capitals. The profile names are case sensitive and would error out on me. Spent hours until I figured that out! I ended up with a lot of statements to balance the MP 60 with the 2 MP40's I think I got but I will have to watch the cycles. this is what I ended up doing Fallback Reefcrest Set Reefcrest If Time 09:30 to 11:00 Then Tidal If Time 11:00 to 12:00 Then Reefcrest If Time 12:00 to 15:00 Then Lagoon If Time 15:00 to 18:00 Then Tidal If Time 18:00 to 20:00 Then Lagoon If Time 20:00 to 20:30 Then Nutrient If Time 20:30 to 22:00 Then Lagoon If Time 22:00 to 03:00 Then MP60-Night If Time 03:00 to 08:00 Then Latenight If Time 08:00 to 09:30 Then Night If FeedC 000 Then OFF If FeedA 000 Then OFF One MP40 I have running anti sync to the MP60 the other MP40 is providing surface agitation and is at 100% during the day then drops to 70% at night so far the flow looks good in the tank

Changes from original Plans
Quote:
Not big enough so ended up with a Bubble King Supermarin 200 2. 2 x MP 40's Not enough flow. ended up with 2 MP-60's and 1 MP-40 3. Lighting One of my 350's started grinding so Kessil sent me a Brand new 360 under warranty so now I have 2x 360 and 1 350 4. Apex Jr Ran out of expansion for PH, ORP, salinity, WMX and a breakout. Upgraded to full apex. 5. Was planning on using just 1 MarineLand overflow since I was converting this to a peninsula tank. Not enough flow so ended up drilling hole in the tank for a Gl*******s 1500gph overflow box. Everything else was used as planned! for now Very costly changes but I figured it is done right. I am possibly going to upgrade to a acrylic sump that has a better layout in a few weeks.

Very nice. I love the tile. I install tile for a living so I guess I am a bit partial. The 300 is a great size for a peninsula. Lot's of room and 3 different views. Very nice job on the build!

Adam- they are 1" glass tiles that came in 1' x 1' sheets... never again! way to hard to cut even with my wet saw

That was lightning fast! looking great!
for the tiles you should of asked! all you need is a tile nipper for mosaic 1'' pieces, must of been scary using a wet saw with the little pieces?? when you are sitting at the bar, can you see the tank lights? or is the angle low so you cant see them? |

Avandss
Yes it was fast.. holidays are approaching so I had to get it done.. Actually sitting at the bar isn't to bad. You don't really see the lights. That was a debate to go all the way to the top of the tank or leave space for access. Access won! I did using tile nippers, but no matter what I did it was hard to get a clean edge.. It added character to the bar top!

lol, yeah little tiles no matter what are ...... to work with!
yeah access is so important its not even funny. my access is not fun, very doable but not fun. i had to sacrifice easy access for my design look! how about a pic of the finished job with the counter top ambient led lights? i am sure it looks stunning in person do you have a qt setup btw? Quote:

Looks good man. Couldnt you use Piano Hinges on the Canopy so you'd have access?

I did hinge the Back panel for full access. I have just enough room to get my thongs in from the from the from and the side
