I like how they expect the power to be out 2 days when its 100 out here in Texas this week. SMDH. If I wasnt on a propane tank at the house I would definitely install a 20kw full home generator, installed they are about 9k. Maybe if they run natural gas like they are talking about i will pull the trigger on it.

The forums gave me a good avenue to be a squeaky wheel. The minute I complained about not having electricity still at 9pm... 20 HOURS LATER, the electric company texted and said we have a green light... Or any light for that matter! We have electricity again!
Thank you... Oh thank you magic bubbling wand of life and its buddy, the $6 bait bucket bubbler from Wal-Mart! Thank you ye old $3 mercury thermometer suctioned cupped to the glass to help me keep an eye on temps. And most importantly, thank you my brand new generator, your awesome 1800 watts of life giving power... Letting me run my return pump, 2 MP60s, a small fan, and even my Monster Reef Octopus skimmer rated for 450 gallons... And the occasional recharging of my phone. We survived... We did it. We are exhausted... Goodnight all and thank you for the well wishes and support. |

Got some new goodies in the mail today. Here's some quick phone snaps of them. I'll follow up with some nice DSLR shots when I get my macro lens back from my brother this weekend.
Copps Lemon Lime Hyacinthus I ordered a large frag, he sent a colony. Copps Hulk Mille and the one I ordered the pack for, old school 20k lokani. I've been searching high and low for this old classic. This pack from a fellow reefer: BC shizo West side purplishous RR Red Bull TGC Inner Planet Jose Rainbow Hungs Rainbow Explosion The Hung's Rainbow Explosion is ridiculous. I'll let it settle and snap some pics with a good camera this weekend to let everyone see what I'm talking about! Its so nice, I actually saved the encrustment. I never save the encrustment. |

The Hungs Truly Unbelievable on the Battlecorals website is amazing too. I'll have to take an updated picture of it. It's starting to show some promise. |

Yeah, that didn't work. I guess you can Google "********* battlecorals pieces spotlight." Within that thread, read post #16.
