Lightbulb 180 gal tank question

I cant post pics for some reason but I just finished my stand and and Im in the fence on painting the back of the tank, I want to paint it but dont know what color on the other hand where this tank is going to be located there will be no access to the back so if I get any leaks I wont be able to see them, any suggestions, Thanks in advance.

Most people do blue or black. If you plan to keep the back wall clear of algae then blue looks good. If you plan to let it get covered with algae, coralline, etcetera then I'd suggest black. Another option is covering it with a fake wall, using pond foam and rocks. Good luck with your build!

I need to do the return and the pump and I keep second guessing myself, for now I a MAG 18 soon to get a DC pump. So the old owner had a josh posh of pipes going from the pump to the tank he had 1” to 1 1/2” to 1” to 3/4 out to tank and over flow he had 1 1/2” from each side into a 2” draining into sump, here is my idea, pump to tank 1”all the way to the top T with 4 outlets spaced on the back and for return 1 1/2” from each side down into a T then into sump, any ideas
