I forgot the actual name, but I call it a green eye unicorn, it's just like Bali shortcake but with bright green polyps.
Good to see you back here pal. I also tend to lose interest in the summer I hope your Acropora are healthy. Looking forward to see updates in your thread!

Thanks for the picture! Looking forward to see those green/yellow tips on my coral.

Ps. Im glad you live in the west coast. Looking at CNN now to see the hurricane status. So sad to see all the damages in the Carribean and Florida.

They are looking good.
Nice new additions!
Yeah I still can't believe the condition they were in after over 24 hours transit. I've unfortunately lost the Red Dragon and the Emerald om Fire. But the frags are finally starting to grow now

Thanks. I will sell some of the LPS though. I threw out the sand when I had the cyano outbreak and will go barebottom for now and concentrate on the sps!

Here's my latest addition to my tank by the way. I've always wanted to try this tang. And I'm glad I did. It does a great job with the algae.

Sorry for the quality. I didnt have my camera ready so I had to use my phone.

Thanks! I hope for massive growth of the frags now so I have something to take pictures of

Here's a video from today. Sorry for the bad focus on some of the frags, it's difficult to film with the phone under water.

Remember to see in 1080p.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tycFIpj5-M

Sorry for the wrong format on the movie. For some reason Youtube got this in portrait, fixed it now to landscape

Here's an update. The system looks good now and the frags are growing and colouring up nicely.

Limeade

Caroliniana

Vivid's Fire Garden. Still waiting for more colour on this one.

Green Lantern stag. I almost lost this one. Looks way better now than a couple of weeks ago.

Sapphire Millepora. This is placed to deep I think. Will move this when I find my glue.

Grape Vine Valida. Sorry for the bad picture. This is in the back of the reef, so it's hard to hold the camera steady without support.

Here's whats left of the Aussie Shortcake after it lost a lot of tissue.

Aussie Trachyphyllia

Aussie Dragon soul Favia

Aussie Chalice

Hey buddy. Acros are all looking very good. How many fish do you now have in the tank? What is the PO4 and NO3 levels? What are you feeding the fish daily?

I really look forward to seeing this tank mature. I miss your old old 140G tank...that tank was superb.

Hi Sahin! Thanks, I'm pretty satisfied with the colours now after looking at browned and bleached frags for 5 months

Here's my small fish list:

Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis (Chevron Tang)
Salarias Ramosus (Starry Blenny)
Zebrasoma Flavescens (Yellow Tang)
(and 2 cleaner shrimps and a dozen turbo snails)

I feed the fish with Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes daily and frozen (mysis, artemia) a couple times a month.

Yeah I miss that tank also. Such a shame I lost all those Acroporas and Montiporas

Edit: A while since I last checked, but nutrients has stayed low since the tank cycling matured. I'll test and let you know this week.

Thanks Matt! Yeah I'm so glad that the frags finally started to grow and that the problems I had with some of the Acroporas suddenly went away. Only a couple of victims and one of those the Red Dragon

Here's an update of the frags. I tested the nutrition levels and they were actually pretty high. 0,2 po4 and 4 no3. I've been away this weekend and haven't added -np pro so that may be why, but I have good growth and ok colours with these levels.

Cali Tort

Nick's Green Eye Unicorn

Mother of Pearl

Aussie green stag

Sapphire Milli

Pink Lemonade

Grape Vine Valida

Limeade

Caroliniana

Thanks Matt! I've missed the Pearl berry so I was very happy to stumble over it.

No picture update this time, but I have decided to change the flow in the tank. I've been using a Maxspect Gyre XF150 and two small stream pumps for a couple of years now. I have been happy with the Gyre, but the problem I've had with this setup is that it is impossible to have sand in the tank.

I ordered some new pumps from an Italian company called Rossmont. I'm looking forward to try these out. These are AC pumps which is possible to control with a Waver box. These looks very promising.

Here's what I've ordered:

2 x Rossmont Mover M5800

2 x Rossmont Mover MX13400

1 Rossmont Waver Master WR-2CH to control the MX13400's

Here's a review of the Waver: http://www.danireef.com/2017/04/21/r...io-controller/ and a review of the largest MX pump: http://www.danireef.com/2015/07/30/r...-depth-review/

Yesterday I got a couple of new frags. They were not established so I hope they make it!

This morning I got the new pumps I ordered. Looking forward to try them out tonight! I was pretty surprised by the size of the pumps. I thought the MX pumps would be much larger. But they are pretty small and look pretty good

And here's a picture of the Pearl Berry with the phone (sorry for the quality).

Nice new pumps! Aren’t they made by sicce? Good quality either way..
I am in love with that little pearlberry or yours!

No I don't think Rossmont has anything to do with Sicce. All they say on their website is that the pumps are designed in Italy though. Yeah I love that one too

I have had these for a week now and I am a little dissapointed about the noise. They make a lot more noise than I thought they would do. I will try to move the magnets a bit, but I don't think that will solve much. I think the vibrations would have been solved with silicon mounts like the Tunze pumps.

But I do like the Waver. That thing is pretty nice. When I have the sump and equipment in another room it's so nice to turn on/off or gain through the phone

A while since I've taken pictures. I took some yesterday, but I uploaded the wrong file to the ATI lamp, so the led has too much red and blue, so the colours were a nightmare to work with.

Here's some new frags!

Don't know what this is yet.

Aussie Echinata.

Not sure of the species. This one will get yellow tips.

I was pretty happy when I got hold of this Simplex frag. Too bad it has started to lose tissue. It would have been all purple if it was in good shape.

New Aussie Acans!
