Maybe in time they will, I'd just love it for itself.
Looks like many Favia I've seen. I'm refering to the red & green tints and level of contrast here, not structure.

How fast do these things grow. I know they are larger polyp but its like a supersized montipora coral.

Supposedly fast, but my frag hasn't really grown much. All other LPS and SPS is growing at a slow, but consistent rate. All polyps are open, great color and places about midway with medium-low flow, which is keeping it very happy besides not really growing or spreading. Tank's under Radion G2 Pro LED lights.

Stunning coral. I glued a tiny slice to my back wall in my SPS dominated tank and growing nicely.

So it can encrust the back wall? I was thinking of trying something like that for my tank. I've seen a few different examples of people growing a coral all over their back wall and I think it looks awesome.
