LED Fixture Design [AND THE SURVEY SAYS!!!!!!]
OK, I don't know how to do the survey but here is a pic of my two options to hand my LEDs. They will be using 60 degree lenses and 12 inches above the water. Your options are the left side or right side. Only because I need to fabricate the hanging fixture for the heat sinks. Your response is greatly appreciated.

Just read the whole thing and looks like your off to a GREAT start. The idea of being able to slide that sump out from under the tank is a awsome idea, should make yourlife alot easier when its time to clean it out, my only opinion is I would leave that center overflow and just attach some live rock up against it.
Its good to see that you lowered the stand, take it from someone that has to climb a 6 foot ladder everyday to feed the tank or do anything become a real pain, as I know. I'm still debating on changing my tank stand about 10-12" but that means more drywall work and I hate doing that stuff. Keep up the goood work!!! |

This is a better representation of what I am talking about. The other design is having all the fixtures parallel in a straight line.

I will be in Clearwater for scallop season. That is in mid-july early august. Are you going to have a full blown reef I can see?
