265g stocking list
A few weeks ago I got my 265g (84x24x30) acrylic tank set up and running. I have a 75g sump with a Reef Octopus 200int skimmer and pondmaster mag24 return pump. In the tank I have one MP40QD and a jebao wp40 powerhead and seem to be getting a nice flow in the tank. Lighting is two 32" reef breeder photon LED.
In QT I currently have a 3" orange spot rabbitfish and 2 1/2" blueface angel. They are on their second round of prazipro at the moment as I discovered the angel had flukes. In a separate QT I have two frostbite clowns about 1-1 1/2" that I just dosed prazipro with as a preventative treatment. I am not 100% sure where I want to take this tank as far as other fish and possibly reef. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

I imagine you would want a couple of tangs, butterflies and some wrasses

I did just pick up a Squaretail bristletooth tang yesterday. Would like to add another tang but not sure what kind. I like the Blue Caribbean tang and purple tang but I am not sure about their aggression unless I find them small in the same size range as the fish I currently have.

I have a 265. Yellow tang. Hippo and purple in there with no problems. Also a clarkii clown, royal gramma, some blue chromis, a few anthias. I'll be adding maybe one more tang. I've tried other fish over the years but they either got bullied or nipped on coral

As far as I know the Purple tang are usually aggressive but Blue Caribbean should be ok
