Wow 7ft! Will you be buying another lighting system to light such a beast, or will you add a Mitras or two on the ends of the ATI?

I'll run a 5ft ati hybrid and have some nice space around the scape to give an open look to the tank.

Looking forward to this. Are you keeping the same lights or do you feel like changing to something different?

I have a giesemann matrixx II dimtec on its way. The ATI was too short and not a fan of having two lights over the tank.

I am considering a switch to T5 for the summer months and have an 82"x 32" tank. I also assumed I would have to go with two 36" fixtures. How long is the Giesemann? Isn't it the same length as the ATI 80W LED Powermodule?

Not long enough but the scape idea is to be centred with open space on the edges

Scape is basically what I have now with some extra bits to fill up some space

Happy day, DHL was open on a Saturday so was able to pickup the new light. Giesemann Matrix II Dimtec 8x80w.

Very sleek unit, by far the best looking light ive seen or owned - it oozes quality aswell as design. The light is very narrow, 45cm (35cm globe to globe roughly) so lets see how much spread the light gives when the globes arrive
