How about an update? Is everything going well? Great project and a beautiful tank. Congratulations.

Yes everything is going pretty well. No big additions so I guess that's the reason of my lack of updates but a few things have changed nonetheless. On the hardware side of things, I installed a Phosban reactor 150 and placed some RowaPhos and Matrix carbon in it. I also managed to finally find a small fan I could install in my top to battle heat issues that come with the summer. Today was a pretty hot day and it still has trouble lowering the temp enough (reached 82.5) so I sometimes need to close the MH a little sooner. I have a second one and I might install it over the sump if only 1 doesn't cut it. I also pruchased an automatic feeder for the upcoming holidays. I have yet to try it. As far as inhabitants are concerned, I now have a cleaner shrimp, a mandarin and a clown fairy wrasse (or red head solon fairy wrasse). The mandarin is a little skinny so I'm trying to look into solutions to increase my population of pods. The wrasse is really nice and really outgoing, always in front of the tank. Finally, I also added some molding to the contour of the tank. The FTS is a little older but it shows the new molding. I also have an older clip here where I try to give a good idea of the tank in general : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVNtuvL6_sQ |

Update!
Just realized that it had been over a year and a half since my last post here. Sorry about that, I mostly post updates on a forum I manage for French (and a few English speaking as well) reefers from QC...
Here are a few of the latest pics I have : |
