Skimz retrofit pump
Maybe wrong forum so sorry in advance Does anyone know of a alternative pump that will easily retro fit or just outright work for a Skimz SV223 skimmer? Its a Skimz VSC5000-DC pump.
No one seems to have one. I have heard that they are Rebranded Jebao pumps. Just not sure which one. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

I'm not 100% but they are jebao pumps as far as I can tell. On my smaller skimmer I replaced my skimz one with a dcs2000 and never looked back. Actually I went through 3 of them through warranty and gave up. This one has been going strong for almost a year. It is just a guess, but it is probably a 5000 model pump from jebao.

What would you recommend for the Skimz SV223? What Jebao pump DCS5000?

I would try the DCP5000. I just picked up a 10000 for a return pump and it is dead silent. I have a DCT 4000 on my nano as well that has been working great for almost 2 years so far as well. I wish I could find the thread size, I am guessing that is what you would need more than anything for the skimmer.......

I have a skimz es2800 new in box. I have no idea if it is appropriate for your skimmer but if you're interested, let me know.
