you did a dsb refugium? or u did it in your display tank?

im looking how u stabilize the PH because u have the A/c runing everyday, in my city is too hot to open the window for fresh air ;/ my ph sometimes is 8.2 and sometimes goes down to 8.0 and even 7.9 ;/ i want to stabilize the ph to 8.2 - 8.3 and i read that dsb are pretty good for denitrifaction + ph buffering if you use aragonite ( i dont have aragonite, my sand is from the beach).

so i want to know if i should do a dbs refugium or in my display tank ?

its a small tank
120 cm l x 40cm w x 50 w

Hello chingchai,

where did you buy your corals at the begining? Is there any website of the company? Is it possible to buy corals from Europe?

Thanks :-)

I do dsb for refugium.
My ph is also not quite stable. The range is 8.2 to 7.9 just like yours.
But so far there is no affect on my tank.

I bought corals from local fish shops.
Yes, you can buy corals from Europe. There are many nice shops there.

What a beauty!!!!
The peppermint has the best home away from its home.
The cube has such esthetics to it...and a balance of colours too.
If the photo looks so beautiful...one can only imagine how amazing these tanks will look in real. Chingchai's fish room for me is the Disneyland of Reefing...."so much to see in so little time..."
Thanks for this update!!
