Apex temp probe?

My apex temp probe is showing 75.9; I checked with a Oneida digital thermometer and that is showing 74 degrees. Which one is more accurate?

Should I calibrate the apex temp with the Oneida digital thermometer or no?

Can you calibrate using water/ice and set it at 32? Or this wont work for Apex?

Best way is to get a NIST certified thermometer and test at the same spot the temp probe is sitting at and calibrate the probe according to that.
The way the probe is calibrated, you tell it what it should be reading at that time of calibration.

Ok I re-calibrated my probe was for about 2 degrees off. I tested my digital food probe and this floating temp will you say this is showing 76 degrees?

Waiting for my nist certified thermometer

Looking at this it looks 76 degrees yes?
