rodi buddie 50gal per day

I wanted to know how I can upgrade my current rodi from 50 to 75 or 90 gallons per day and what determins that rating? Do I need to buy a new system or is it the membrane that determins the gallons per day and I just have to buy a higher rated one?

Hi ejkid,

Thanks for your inquiry. Fortunately, it is an easy upgrade. You just have to change out the TFC membrane as well as the flow restrictor.

A nice upgrade would be the SpectraPure® SpectraSelect Plus 99% Rejection RO Membrane 90GPD and the Flow Restrictor 75-100 GPD. It is a tested membrane with an ultra-high rejection rate. A better TFC membrane will help you give you better quality water and help your DI cartridge last much longer.
