Red Sea Testing Problems
Are these fluctuations normal or is this a testing inconsistency? I haven’t dosed calcium in 3 days and it shows that calcium continues to increase? Has anyone had testing issues with the Red Sea foundation test kits? It could be user error I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Has your salinity risen over the test period?

Doesn't look normal at all to me to have instability like that..
But without details on what you have been doing to the tank its impossible to say whats going on.. Mag dropping over 200ppm in a day? Cal raising over 100ppm in a day?

This much of fluctuation is not normal. Also I suspect it as a user error rather than test error. A faulty test will give consistent but wrong value, but it wont give values that fluctuate.
