(SOLVED) Starfish - is this good or bad?



Hitchhiker ...

So want to know if this is a good starfish or a bad one for my tank...

Asterina starfish - I've had them in all my tanks and they don't appear to harm anything. Mine seem to eat algae off the glass and do multiply like crazy.

Asternia. Some are ok some eat corals. And if theres one there's likely more. I'd pull it to be safe

Took out over 400 when I finally started to get rid of them. That was a month long process. Still take one out every now and then.

Your's looks like it is one of the darker ones. Those are considered to be the problem ones.
We had pure white ones and darker ones.
Removed all of them.

Check this. My zoas rebounded after I got a harlequin shrimp to control them.
