It's too blurry to tell. Look up images of Eunice worms, that guy reacts just like one.

For a split second I thought I could see the tell tale five mouth tentacles in the video, and how quickly it retracted would lead me to think that its some kind of eunicid worm as well

Could be but I don’t think so, this one had anteni and I have 1 turbo clam (gary from sponge bob square pants) and one clam and neither has shown any stress.

My surgeon (doctor, not fish) has restricted me from putting my hand in the tank for a few weeks but these showed up yesterday so today is the day I go in after the little SOB.

I pulled this out of a rock this morning, looking for. Positive ID of bobbit worm. If so, are they solitary or should I look for more before putting the rock back?

from everything I've read they tend to come in as tiny hitchhikers that go unnoticed on frag plugs or in the crevices on live rock and are only seen after they grow into the the stuff of legend. While it's likely that you just have the one it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility that a couple of them may have been aboard the same mother ship. If it were me I would continue to me vigilant just in case that little stinker had/has any bedfellows. I think there was even another recent thread on here where someone had multiples.

It’s odd because my entire tank is dry rock with just 1 2 # piece of live rock added 7 months ago to sead when I had a BC29 and I dip EVERYTHING!!!
