Generic return pump

Looking at getting a pump for my 180g just going up 3-4 ft. One inch return - 2 outlets. The current one is starting to get louder.

Donít want fancy, just quiet, cool and cheap.
Thinking AliExpress- Sunsun or Jabao but open to suggestions.

Anyone brought a no name or from China brand?

Cheers

I have used the Jebao return pumps for many years and have been very happy with them. I am not comfortable ordering from Aliexpress, so I have purchased all of mine on Amazon.com. They fit all of the requirements you listed. Some people have reported problems with them after some time, but I have never had a problem with them. I also think they are getting better with each generation. I am currently using one of the Jebao DCP return pumps and really like many of the new features.

It's hard to beat a Mag18. I keep one or two around, they can last more than a decade running w/out cleaning.

I'm a very big fan of the Fluval SP pumps. A Fluval SP4 might be a little overpowered on your system, but its a quality, reliable and very quiet pump. Pull a ball valve on the output and you can dial it back if necessary. I have an SP4 and a Mag 18, and the SP4 is noticeably quieter.
