Rock ?

I have had about 30 lbs of rock in my tank with unpluuged everything for about a year My question is how do I get it up and running again? The rock has been covered with unfiltered water the whole time Pls HELP!!

Hose it off on the driveway and right into the new tank it goes to being the cycling process.. Letting it dry out in the sun to evaporate any chlorine from your tap water is a good idea but really not necessary if you need to cycle it anyways.

Add sand/rinsed off rock.. Fill tank with fresh salt water... Add a bit of flake food for a few days or toss in a table shrimp to decompose and just top off with freshwater to make up for evaporation.. In 4-6 weeks tank should easily be fully cycled..
