Toadstool Leather question

Wondering if I should cut off/frag my toadstool leather. The main guy is about 5 inches across and it has three " babies" . Is it safe to leave them on?..I like the look of them but I don't want to have 4 huge toadstools in my tank. Thoughts?

yeah just cut them off and glue them to frag plugs w/ super glue gel, in a few weeks they will have grown a stem
