Mysis, freeze dried brine soaked in selcon and flakes wice a day in autofeeder. I have been feeding peabodys medicated flakes oxytetracycline recently.

I would try soaking a vitamin supplement (e.g. Selcon, Zoecon, Vita-chem) in some high quality frozen food (e.g. LRS, Rod's).

Stung by a anemone or beat on by another fish ?? I’ve had a red headed Solon fairy wrasse and a blue throat wrasse start fighting after being together for several years...out of the blue. In a 180 gallon no less 🤷🏽*♂️

Thanks for the replies.
No anemone and he gets along fine with everyone. Dietary deficiency makes sense. Closest place that sells LRS or Rods is an hour away. I have selcon and vita-chem. I'll go to the grocery store and pick up some fresh shrimp, scallops, squid and whatever else they have and DIY until I can get to the not so LFS. Sound like a plan?

So, no reason why you can't just make your own high quality seafood meal for fish. |

I put the wrasse in a hospital tank, made up some food as you suggested, soaked in vita-chem and fed as often as i could. Three weeks later, I'm happy to say he looks great! I think I'll fatten him up another week and put him back in my display. Just wanted to thank you for the advice! He was always one of my favorite fish and replacing a flame wrasse these days is rather costly. Thanks Doc!
