Adding another clown? Too late?
I bought a black/white clown last Saturday. It seemed to be fine at first and then started hovering around one area of the tank which worried me a bit but it's health seemed OK. Today I noticed it's swimming around the tank and seems more "comfortable" in it's surroundings. I was actually thinking of going to the LHS tomorrow and I'd possibly like to buy a more traditionally marked clown. What I'm wondering is if the two different types are OK together and if I've waited too long to add a second one. It would be a span of six days from adding one to the other. I can always add something else, not a huge deal but could use a tad of guidance.

Going to go this morning. Guess I'll consult with the LHS but was hoping for more guidance as I've never kept more than one and the different varieties are new to me as I've been away some years.

I have a black and white that paired up with an orange and white in my tank. I added 10 at once 5 different pairs. I lost one black and white and one orange and white. The survivors pairs up and always hang out now.

They will be fine. If the one you have is big just get a smaller one
