SPS in San Diego?

I will be in San Diego for several days next week. Any good sps stores that would be worthwhile to visit? I will be staying downtown.

I think the best places for SPS are aqua sd in Claremont & Aquatica in San Marcos. Also there are always good pieces being sold on SD reefs.

Right now I think it would be hard to beat the SPS collection that AquaSD has. They've got a 280 gallon display tank dedicated just to SPS as well as multiple frag tanks loaded from end to end with SPS. I haven't seen an SPS collection like that in an LFS in a while. If you are up for the drive, Aquatica does occasionally have some decent SPS. They tend to be colonies vs. frags though. Hope you enjoy your time in San Diego!

Great. Thanks for the info. Should be better than the snow and ice up here. All the best.

I agree with Jeff, AquaSD ...

Especially right now. I was just there a few days ago and they're looking prime at this time

Not to mention, they recently acquired quite a few other types of choice merchandise from a well know, within the socalled inner circle, Japanese shipment recently ! Ill leave the specifics off here tho, out of respect.

I will be headed there Saturday or Sunday, does anyone know of any other LFS in the area? I like visiting as many as possible when I go new places. To see if they have anything different from the normal stuff we get in my town.

Just visited AquaSD for the first time after being an online buyer from out of the area. All I can say is WOW! A top notch store and Will is a class act. Going home today with some nice pieces and a big smile
