Ceiling mount AI Prime

Hey,

I'm having a tough time deciding whether to buy the tank mount or the ceiling hang kit for my AI prime.

I'm leaning towards ceiling mount, but how does weight factor in to whether I should install into stud or directly into ceiling drywall. Doesn't seem too heavy compared to other fixtures.

I heard the tank mount isn't very sturdy.

Thoughts? Thanks.

Being LED, the weight is minimal compared to other types. At a minimum, I would use toggle bolts, NOT drywall "anchors" to spread it out some. For my on piece of mind, I would probably put a narrow board between two ceiling joists. Paint it ceiling white and it will be almost invisible. The chances that you will be centered directly over just one is slim in any case.

I believe the ceiling kit comes with toggle bolts.
