Just wondering if the doser 2 standalone can be used with the profilux? or do you need to buy the slave.

Oh, Would have been nice if it could be controlled also by the profilux . so you would have a choice of standalone or slave with one unit.

Is that stepper motor variable speed or single. So flr water changes can I up the speed or will it work on slow dosing speeds?

It is driven by time not speed. min dosing 0.1ml and max is currently 45ml per minute.

we were told yesterday there is a two week delay so I am assuming this means we will receive into Ogdensburg warehouse last week of October if this schedule stays on target.

The issue here is cost.

why should profiLux owners pay for built in control that the SA doser comes which they dont need?

Maybe for have 1 temperature port + 2 level port, that which is cheaper than buy dosing pump + expansion box for just these need?

No because no free port (PLM-Oxygen + PLM-PWC).

And the logic is the same:
GHL Doser 2 is cheaper than GHL Doser slave + PLM-ph-temp + PLM-4level
