Reef LED options

I have a 5 foot tank and currently have 3 chinese black boxes lighting it. I do not like the look they give and how they look in general so I want to upgrade. The lights I was looking at were

1. ReefBreeders v2+ (50 inch) https://www.reefbreeders.com/shop/photon-50-v2/ ---$715

2. 2x Corona Rapid LED https://www.rapidled.com/corona-by-rapid-led/ ---$750

3. I really like orphek lights however they are too expensive but I noticed they sell LED bars so I messaged them and asked them what they recommended for my tank considering I like the look of the orphek atlantic v4 so they suggested this(they also have 5 foot bars coming soon but they said I wouldn't notice the 6 inches on each side):
2x OR2 120cm Blue plus
1x OR2 120cm Custom UV
1x OR2 120cm Reef Day plus
This will come out to $730
https://orphek.com/or2-150-120-90-60-reef-led-lighting/

If anyone has any other suggestions or recommendations that will be appreciated! I would like to stay in this price range as well.

5'=60" with spread a 48" light should do it unless they are right on the water.
That in itself would save some.

I have to replace my light and I'm looking at getting the Photon v2+ on Black Friday. My tank is 5'x2'x2' and the light would sit about 18" or so from the top of the water. It seemed to be the best light for my tank.

18" is a little high mine is 8" from water level.
About the height of the supplied leg brackets.
The lights have optics of 100 degrees IIRC.

For the sake of discussion really need all tank dimensions.

As to the Orphek's I consider that a wee bit expensive for non-dimmable lights..

I am going to watch this thread because I have a build going with a 72" x 24" x 30" 240 gal and I am having a hard time deciding on lights. It is going to be a mixed tank. I dont want to break the bank so putting 4 radion's or 4 AI hydra 32 is just not going to happen.

Been using the V2-50 for a few years now. Upgraded he circuit board last year for smoother light changes.
Tank is 60x18x22. Lights sit about 8 inches from the water, set inside a cutout hood.
Pardon the photo quality.

That's a very nice looking tank! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to picking up the V2+.

hello all, reefteaser can you share your lighting schedule for your V2? I am just wanting to compare to my own. I am trying to figure out where mine differs from others since having issues growing some corals.

Sure, I've attached the Excel spreadsheet I use to keep track of it. It's working for me, but no promises to anyone else. It's a mixed tank of softies, LPS, and SPS. It can be a challenge to find the right spot for everything. I keep telling myself I need to buy or rent a meter.

I use the 12K lighting schedule suggested by Reefbreeder's on the website.
There are a few there.
