I spoke to supplier yesterday and he mentioned that as of now we are a go for delivery on Monday the 16th. Pending any further weather changes but looks good so far. I will be receiving the corals in the morning sometime between 8 and 10:00. From there I can go to a centralized location and we can distribute corals from there. You all let me know where would be a good place to meet sometime around 10:30-11:00.

How about somewhere near the airport? Seems like a fairly central location

Alright guys, here's the deal....I know you all have seen the news and the weather that the northeastern US has had the past couple of weeks. We had looked at the forecast and it seemed that the weather was supposed to warm up this weekend. Here's what it looks like....

it's gonna 20 degrees this weekend. Shipper is saying he'd like to hold off on shipping unless we want frozen water in our bags....lol I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's looking more like mid week??? Is that ok?

I would hate for this first order with this guy to go bad due to weather issues. I think its best that we wait..

Do they only ship for a Monday delivery? I don't have any issues waiting. I will be out of town for a lot of March if this stretches that far out.

I dont see it stretching out that far. Later in the week next week the weather seems to warm up to about 37 or so. I see it getting better. No they ship during the week also but its not any better this week. I will keep you all posted. I have been told that our corals were hand picked from the farm and are crazy!!

Should be getting sample pics of our corals this evening.

We don't want frozen corals so a little wait is fine with me.

Alright guys another update: I know you all have been watching the news and the weather in the northeastern part of the US is just not letting up. The problem is that he cant get the weather to seize a little just to get the corals in to NY (where he is). The wholesaler that he uses is not willing to bring the shipment in at the moment due to the subfreezing temperatures in his area. In order for him to ship to us for Friday he needs to get the corals today for tomorrow delivery to him, the high temperature for tomorrow is slated to be 23 tomorrow. With that said it is almost impossible for him to have them deliver in such cold temps. There are many online vendors that are postponing shipping til next week because of the bad ice storm that Memphis just got with (fedex priority goes through Memphis).

So with all that said, I do apologize for the delays but we have checked the weather and he will be receiving the corals on saturday and will ship them to us on monday for tuesday delivery.

I will gladly hand deliver your corals to your door for the inconvenience that this has caused. Matthias I will gladly meet you somewhere on the west side of town to deliver your corals. I will keep you all updated as i get tracking info and all. Thanks again for your understanding and patience through all of this I had no clue the worst winter storms in years were coming when i first posted this thread.

You don't have to deliver the corals to my house we can meet somewhere as we planned. I should be getting off at 2 pm on Monday. Just text me and will meet somewhere.
