Coralife t5 ho?

I just bought it. The 36" fixture.

Anyone have experience with it?

I just read it says not to use it on uncovered tanks? What gives with that?

Mine is sitting 8" above the water line.

The manufacturer is worried about corrosion and electrical shorts. If you use it without an aquarium cover, you need to be aware of this hazard.
